Day 26: Write about the 30th picture on your phone or computer. Write about the story behind it, or make up the story behind it.

Awesome 3

Awesome 3

The teaser princess

Well, since my phone had been broken way longer then I have planned it to be -,- and I don’t like pictures that much so I hardly have any on my computer… I decided to take my camera out of my bag to see what uselessness I have on there 😛 To my surprise there were more than 30 pictures! But I didn’t like the first one that much (just a pic of the big Ben xD, ok it’s awesome but I didn’t feel like it) I counted in reverse order and came across this one.

What you see right there is a sign of epic friendship! I don’t even know where to start XD I’ll keep the boring details of how we met for myself and I’ll just talk about the picture 😛 It is made by a friend of mine, (the guy in the bottom) who happens to be an epic artist!!! It was made for the girl at the top for her birthday, as a surprise and I asked him to make it (I’m in the middle ofc). I remember showing it to a friend of mine and the first thing she told me: “Hey Sam… Since when are you white?” O.o Oh yeah… I forgot…

Anyways 😛 It was her birthday and we decided to be sweet to her for a change… We filled an envelope with cute drawings a letter to her and some more cute random stuff to surprise her. She deserved it a little because we had another surprise for her… We kept it a secret from her for 2 months and it turns out.. She’s not that good with curiosity >:D Which only makes me want to surprise her more and tease her as much as possible! Well, friendship with me is based on 3 things, Randomness, Teasing and a little bit of Sweet 😀 There’s probably more, but for now I know there’s gonna be a lifetime of teasing, fun and more teasing between us xD.

Woohoow 😀 There are two reasons to celebrate! One of course is this awesome award I got from Frank Diluzio, www.frankdiluzio.com. Thanks a lot!! The second is that I get to post about it in my *drums ruffle* 30th post! That might not be very impressive… but well XD

The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:

6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars.

The Blogs I nominate are:

http://emilyamzand.wordpress.com Because you’re not only a great person, you also have a lot of creativity to offer in the world of blogging. Scratch that, just overall 😀 I love your humour, your straight to the point blogs and I love you personally too 😀

http://frankdiluzio.com/ Because I like reading your stories and it was great reading your different challenge interpretations etc.

http://weaklyshortstories.wordpress.com/ Because these stories gave me inspiration! They were extremely well written and it encourages me to write more too!

Enjoy!!

Day 9: A story in 250 words or less about your favorite city

Beautiful picture by my sister in law, during the weekend ❤

My sister in law, Emily, is an awesome photographer and a great writer too so if you have the chance yo should definitely go and visit her blog!! Click this to see the awesomeness!

Brussels. Simply Awesome!

Hey guys! Someone… Reminded me I should write a story on my blog again because I haven’t in 6 days already! The first reason for that is of course (look at the title of the blog) my writers block… I somehow couldn’t make a prequel of a superhero for the challenge! I’m gonna try to think of it (with many other stuff later) but to move on I decided to go to the story about a city. Which brings me to my second reason I didn’t write anything for a while… Last weekend I went to one of the most epic cities in the world. BRUSSELS. So instead of writing a story (yeah… I’m good at following the rules of challenges…) I’m going to try and stuff all the awesome experiences in this city into 250 words, which is extremely difficult!! I hope no one minds if I slightly go over the word count… O:) But Awesomeness can’t be restricted! So here it goes…

As I like to say, home is where the heart is. Starting from about 6 months ago a part of my heart has been laying around in Brussels together with the sweetest people I have been blessed enough to meet. At random we picked out a weekend to visit my cousin living in Gent for a year. At random we decided to go to the Brussels International Seventh Day Adventist Church. At random we met people who we would never ever forget for our entire lives. That day ended at about 3 o’clock in the morning after eating Belgian fries and waffles (Seriously… If you have the chance, go get one!!!) and the forming of Epic friendships. After having to live 6 months with some short interventions of awesomeness coming to our place, last weekend I got to go ‘home’ again. Well, it might as well be home, because this family has a talent for hospitality that makes you feel like you really belong there 😀 Just to sum up some of the awesome activities; Revealing the secrets…, Going to church ( that’s always awesome), seeing our great friends there again (I miss you guys so muuuuch), singing, singing, singing and a little bit more singing, using the little snow we had to have a snow fight which ended in… make our host eat as much snow as possible >:D, Deliciousness from worlds best cook (!!!), Going to church again and listening to angels voices, singing, singing and more singing (man I love music), Christmas market :D, rummicub… (take your stone!!!). Man, sorry for everyone reading this and thinking O.o what is happening here… But I just had so much fun that I can’t properly describe it! The most important thing is, last weekend I got a new home and right now I’m feeling homesick xD All I can say is I love these people and I’ll never forget this weekend for the rest of my life! Brussels might not be the coolest city in the world (it is extremely beautiful though, and awesome, and you just have to see it at night, with the christmas lights and and and…) But it most definitely has the most awesome people in the world and it most definitely has my heart right now 😀
